Toyota Takes Hybrids in a New Direction at Detroit Auto Show

Mark our words... Toyota is turning the hybrid from niche class into a mainstream must-have, and they're starting in Detroit. The Japanese automaker recently revealed a new concept for a plug-in hybrid at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, and it was more than enough to make everyone here at Charles Barker Toyota do a double take!
What's so special about this new Prius That's the thing... It isn't a Prius at all! We were inclined to say that the new Toyota hybrid would be another addition to the Prius family of cars just as much as the next guy too. After all, vehicles like the all-new Prius v, the upcoming Toyota Prius Plug-In, and even the recently-announced Toyota Prius C have graced the Prius lineup, so who's to say that this new one would differ?
Well, not only does it differ; The all-new Toyota NS4 concept blows everything the company has done previously out of the water. We speak in terms of design, though, as the company was rightfully unwilling to show what the new ceoncept packs under the hood. What we saw, however, is a vehicle that is both modern and futuristic at the same time. It's edgy without being too "concepty" (I.E., too far off for production). In fact, we wouldn't be surprised if a production version of the NS4 comes sooner than we all thought.
Basically, it's clear that Toyota has been working on this one for some time, and we here at 1877 Laskin Road Virginia Beach, VA 23454 think that it makes for a fine addition to the new Toyota lineup.
